COGS Christmas bash 2019

Due to the convenience and assurance that the quality had returned we met up again on the 25th Jan 2020 at the George in Cavendish for the 7th time, as in the past it had been unbeatable value for money, with the exception of the lap dancing prawns incident two years ago. However it felt very different this year due to some founder members missing.

Taken from the opposite end, and if you look carefully at the picture titled "Choosing our Dinner". The Magicians cards can just be seen on the the right hand of the table.

Then suddenly its all at an end, but on leaving the George Sue and I were greeted by Liana and Barry of BBC Essex who were in the middle of an Outside Broadcast for "The Quest" we had a chat with Barry for 10 min's or so. He asked our names and were each given a BBC Essex Tee Shirt. On leaving we tuned in to the Radio Station and heard our names on the air. Fame at last ........!
