MY Lockdown Project completed !

A couple of months before Christmas 2019 My Daughter said the Hover board she had bought for her daughter stopped working, could i have a look at it. well over the following weeks i concluded that one or more of the circuit boards had died, and replacing it if I could even get one was too expensive. So it was to be disposed of. 

However, the wheels are BLDC motors, which i felt sure were in perfect working order so after a lot of web research i ordered a controller and a speed control from ebay ( from China ) 

After yet more research I managed to get the controller to spin the wheel under the control of the throttle. So the idea then was to fit the motor to a Push bike.....! 

You tube was great I found lots of info on there and after a lot of work and overcoming several snags the bike evolved. 

Today it had its first test and unbelievably it actually worked. Although the chain came of so a modification required to sort this out as the chain is too slack but other wise a success in Lockdown.
